I’ve had heaps of fun working as an ‘official elf’ for the Christmas Elves, a year-round holiday retailer group with two bricks-and-mortar shops in Melbourne.
My work over the past ten years has allowed them to reach a larger audience, retain existing customers, and attract new followers on social media. Initially, I redesigned the Christmas Elves logo and produced advertising material. Later, I shaped the identities of the group’s three sub-brands: Easter Town, Witches of Halloween, and Baby’s First. More recently, I illustrated contemporary versions of their charming characters.
Each year, I design the overall concept for the group’s campaigns and prepare the online, social, and print media collateral. To help the Christmas Elves diversify and stay ahead of their competition, I’ve created props for commercials, vehicle wraps, and cut-out photo props to inspire ‘instagrammable’ in-store moments.
