The Umberto Group is a family-owned hospitality business based in Thornbury, Victoria. Founded by Marco Finanzio and named after his Italian immigrant father, Umberto is built on a legacy of authentic, old-school Italian food, strong coffee, and genuine kindness.
I had the pleasure of working with the group for several years, delivering brand identities, creative work, and Italian-retro inspired illustrations across their venues, including Umberto Espresso Bar, Gigi Rooftop, Joanie’s Baretto, and their annual Festa di Santa Giovanna.
