I am proud to have worked with US jeweller Ray Griffiths Fine Jewelry over several years. Initially, they approached me to illustrate a selection of rings, pendants, necklaces and bracelets.
I used watercolour and gouache brushes in Procreate to emphasise softness and texture while ensuring that I retained the intricate latticework detail associated with the master goldsmith’s signature Crownwork® technique.
The brand featured the illustrations on its website and promotional materials to present a point of difference that contrasted sharply with other boutique jewellers’ heavy reliance on photography.
More recently, I assisted with elements of their Collector’s Silk Square. I was asked to prepare painterly versions of several pieces and place them in a specified layout that included a logo and a graphic border. Once approved, I also provided finished artwork for printing.
Customers eagerly embraced this partnership with Lost Pattern’s 100% mulberry silk scarves, as evidenced by its impressive sales.
